Flute
A flute is a musical instrument that belongs to the woodwind family. It is typically made of metal, though historically it was made of wood. Flutes produce sound when air is blown across the edge of a hole in the instrument, causing vibrations that resonate within the flute's hollow body. By covering and uncovering various holes along the length of the flute, the player can produce different notes. Flutes are known for their clear and melodious tone and are used in a wide variety of musical genres, including classical, folk, jazz, and popular music.
